Kirk Cousins Expected to Remain Raiders Starter Amid Trade Deadline Rumors

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins is not expected to be traded before the deadline, as the team has received no inquiries and intends to keep the veteran as their starter. Operating on a one-year contract, Cousins ranks second in the NFL with 19 touchdown passes while leading Las Vegas to a 4-4 record and the league's sixth-highest scoring offense. The franchise plans to stick with Cousins during their playoff push before eventually transitioning to rookie Fernando Mendoza.
