Jacob Markstrom Confirmed to Start in Sunday's Road Matchup Against Boston

Jacob Markstrom will defend the road net against the Boston Bruins on Sunday, per Rob Darragh of the Florida Panthers' official site. Markstrom earns the nod for the second half of a back-to-back set following Akira Schmid's start in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Washington. The 36-year-old netminder has posted a 4-2-1 record while stopping 146 of 165 shots during his 2026-27 campaign entering Sunday's game against Boston.
