Jalen Hurts Out for Season After Blood Clots Travel to Lungs
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will miss the rest of the 2026 season after being diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and bilateral pulmonary emboli. Initially treated for a superficial calf clot in London prior to Week 5, subsequent imaging revealed the clot had traveled to his lungs. Hurts is undergoing treatment with blood thinners and is expected to return for the 2027 season while Tanner McKee steps in.
