Seth Jarvis Opens Scoring Early in Hurricanes' 9-2 Victory Over Chicago

Seth Jarvis scored just 1:34 into the game to set the tone for the Carolina Hurricanes in a 9-2 rout of the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday. Jarvis' early strike initiated a four-goal first period for Carolina, which ultimately tied its franchise record for goals in a game since relocating in 1997. The victory marked Carolina's sixth win in its last seven outings as they maintain the NHL's best record.
