Morgan Rielly Exits Game Early with Lower-Body Injury

Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly suffered a lower-body injury early in the second period of Saturday's game against the Montreal Canadiens and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Rielly's departure creates uncertainty regarding his availability for Sunday's matchup against the New Jersey Devils. If Rielly is forced to miss additional time, defenseman Dakota Mermis is expected to enter the lineup to fill the vacancy.
