Sam Merrill Ruled Out Against Knicks Due to Right Elbow Injury

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Sam Merrill will miss Saturday's game against the New York Knicks after sustaining a right elbow injury in Friday's victory over Philadelphia. Head coach Kenny Atkinson expressed concern over Merrill's status, noting his vital role as a connector. Merrill is averaging 7.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists through nine games while shooting 32.6% from three-point range during a difficult start to the year.
