Christian Kirk Placed on IR After Meniscus Injury

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Christian Kirk has been placed on injured reserve after tearing his meniscus during Thursday's practice. The injury forces Kirk to miss at least four games, further thinning a 49ers receiving corps already missing Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel. In response, San Francisco activated Demarcus Robinson off injured reserve and promoted KhaDarel Hodge from the practice squad.
