Matt Tomkins Reassigned to AHL Bakersfield by Edmonton Oilers

Goaltender Matt Tomkins was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Saturday after Devon Levi was activated off injured reserve. Tomkins spent time with Edmonton while Levi recovered, posting a 1-1-0 record with a 3.10 GAA and an .878 save percentage across two NHL appearances in 2026-27. He returns to the minors as depth insurance behind Levi and Tristan Jarry.
