Milwaukee Brewers Consider Multi-Year Extension for William Contreras

Fresh off winning World Series MVP honors, Milwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras is set to earn $15.5 million in 2027 after the team exercised his option. With catching prospects Jeferson Quero and Marco Dinges limited by injuries, Milwaukee faces a thin depth chart at the position. Projections indicate a six-year contract approaching nine figures could be required to lock up the two-time All-Star long-term.
