Neemias Queta Embraced by Coach Joe Mazzulla During Celtics Victory

During the Boston Celtics' 119-80 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, head coach Joe Mazzulla called a timeout to give starting center Neemias Queta an in-game hug after a rebounding scramble. Instead of yelling at Queta over foul tendencies, Mazzulla explained he is working to channel anger into love. Queta, who began his Celtics career on a two-way deal in 2023 before developing into the starting center, saw Mazzulla join him in Portugal this past offseason to build a deeper bond.
