Cameron Carr Sent to G League After Making Debut with Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Cameron Carr has been assigned to G League affiliate Coachella Valley Lakers to get more playing time. Coach JJ Redick noted, "You guys need reps, and you need to play." The No. 24 overall draft pick missed early action due to an oblique injury before making his NBA debut against the Raptors, logging one minute in three games so far. Carr will rejoin the Lakers main roster for an upcoming three-game road trip to Detroit, Atlanta, and Milwaukee.
