Bronny James Assigned to G League Affiliate for Extra Reps

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James has been assigned to the Coachella Valley Lakers of the G League to gain playing time. Head coach JJ Redick emphasized the move, telling James, "You guys need reps, and you need to play." James, who holds a fully guaranteed $2.3 million contract, has seen limited action this season, totaling 2.4 minutes across five games. He is scheduled to rejoin the Lakers for their upcoming three-game road trip against Detroit, Atlanta, and Milwaukee.
