Detroit Lions Defend Brian Branch Amid Discipline and Concussion

Detroit Lions safeties coach Jim O'Neil and head coach Dan Campbell offered strong defenses of safety Brian Branch's violent playing style, despite a history of fines for helmet use and a recent concussion from a friendly-fire collision with DJ Wonnum. Branch is progressing through the concussion protocol and is expected to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, where the team values his exceptional versatility across the defense.
