Tarik Skubal Set to Pursue Record-Breaking Contract in MLB Free Agency

Back-to-back Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal is entering free agency this winter and is expected to command the largest contract for a pitcher in Major League Baseball history. The record mark is currently held by Yoshinobu Yamamoto's $325 million deal. Skubal, who turns 30 on Nov. 20, won consecutive AL Cy Young Awards with the Detroit Tigers before being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers this summer ahead of his historic free agency.
