Stetson Bennett Retains Backup Quarterback Role for Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles Rams backup quarterback Stetson Bennett currently holds the No. 2 spot on the depth chart behind starter Matthew Stafford, keeping rookie first-round pick Ty Simpson as the emergency third quarterback. Bennett is in the final year of his contract, which is set to expire at the conclusion of the season. Analysts speculate the Rams could elevate Simpson over Bennett following the team's upcoming bye week.
