Cade Cunningham Kicked By Joel Embiid In Pistons Loss

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham was struck in the groin by a kick from Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid during the first quarter of a 112-106 loss. No foul was called on the play initially, though the NBA later assessed Embiid a flagrant 1 foul. Cunningham appeared slowed by the pain and frustration early on, scoring just nine points in the first half before finishing with 26 points, 11 assists, and a 1-for-9 mark from 3-point range.
