Bronny James Assigned to G League Affiliate Coachella Valley Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers assigned third-year guard Bronny James to their G League affiliate, the Coachella Valley Lakers, ahead of their Friday season opener against the Salt Lake City Stars. James has logged just 12 total minutes across five appearances during the Lakers' 7-2 start, averaging 0.8 points per game. Moving into his first season without father LeBron James on the team, Bronny will look to regain momentum after previously excelling in G League play.
