Jared Spurgeon Set to Join Wild for Upcoming Three-Game Road Trip

Minnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon (lower body) is expected to travel with the team for its upcoming three-game road trip starting Tuesday against Montreal. Spurgeon has missed seven of the Wild's last 11 games and will likely sit out at least two more contests. During his four recent appearances, the veteran blueliner failed to register a point while producing six shots, five blocked shots, and three hits for Minnesota.
