Miro Heiskanen Out Thursday with Upper-Body Injury, Day-to-Day

Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen (upper body) will miss Thursday's road game against the Blue Jackets, marking his first absence of the 2026-27 season. Heiskanen sustained the upper-body injury in the second period of Tuesday's game against the Capitals. While he's out for Thursday, the fact he's listed as day-to-day is encouraging, and he is likely to return for Saturday's home game against the Sharks. Trey Taylor is expected to see an elevated role in his absence.
