Shohei Ohtani Named Finalist for Fifth Silver Slugger Award

Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani has been named a finalist for the 2026 National League Silver Slugger Award alongside Kyle Schwarber. Ohtani paced all NL DHs with a .377 OBP, .889 OPS, 139 wRC+, 26 doubles, and 11 stolen bases. Despite missing power late in the season while battling left knee and right biceps injuries, he still finished second among NL DHs with 30 home runs across 134 starts. Ohtani is seeking his fifth career Silver Slugger, with winners announced November 17.
