Jaylen Watson's Season Ends with Shoulder Surgery, Placed on IR

Los Angeles Rams CB Jaylen Watson will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery, aggravating a previous injury. He has been placed on injured reserve. Watson was a key defender, entering the past week with the fifth-lowest completion percentage allowed to opposing targets and tied for the third-most pass breakups in the league, making his absence a significant blow for the Rams.
