Christian Gonzalez Defines Patriots' Dominant Man Coverage Identity

All-Pro cornerback Christian Gonzalez serves as the anchor of the New England Patriots' defense, enabling them to run man coverage on 39% of defensive snaps when he is on the field. New England relies heavily on max pressure man looks, where they lead the NFL. Gonzalez has trailed specific receivers in man coverage at least 10 times in three separate games—a league high—making his upcoming matchup with Green Bay critical.
