Tyler Kolek Earns Backup Point Guard Role for Knicks
Tyler Kolek has been named the primary backup point guard for the New York Knicks, ahead of Jose Alvarado. Kolek played significant minutes in the Knicks' 135-105 rout of the Bulls, contributing five assists with no turnovers. Coach Mike Brown stated that competition is constant for bench roles and that Kolek's strong performance earned him the nod. Alvarado, who previously filled in due to injury, had a less impactful outing. Dalton Knecht also made his Knicks debut, scoring 10 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
