John Gibson Exits Red Wings Loss with Injury, Prompting Goaltending Recall

Detroit Red Wings goaltender John Gibson suffered an injury during Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Gibson stopped 11 of 13 shots in the first period before being forced to exit, leaving Daniil Tarasov to play the final 40 minutes of regulation. Following Gibson's departure, the Red Wings recalled goaltender Michal Postava from the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins under emergency conditions on Wednesday afternoon to bolster their crease.
