Michal Postava Recalled by Red Wings Following John Gibson's Injury

The Detroit Red Wings have recalled goaltender Michal Postava under emergency conditions from the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins following an injury to John Gibson. Postava, who previously won his first NHL start in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Edmonton Oilers, returns after posting a 5-0 record, 1.20 GAA, and .955 save percentage in Grand Rapids this season. The 2025 undrafted free agent signee was previously called up in late October before returning to the AHL.
