Josh Morrissey Nears Return From Wrist Injury, Ruled Out Thursday

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (wrist) will not play in Thursday's contest against Vancouver, but he remains a possibility to return Sunday against Tampa Bay, according to Danielle Bain of TSN. Morrissey has been out of the lineup since Oct. 7 but appears to be closing in on a return to action. Prior to the injury, he recorded three assists, one hit, and five blocks across four appearances during the 2026-27 season. He is expected to slot right back into a top-four role once cleared.
