Joe Bachie Promoted to Lions 53-Man Roster Amid LB Injuries

The Detroit Lions signed linebacker Joe Bachie to their 53-man active roster from their own practice squad on Wednesday. Bachie, 28, has appeared in two games for Detroit this season primarily on special teams. With Jack Campbell recovering from a neck injury and Jimmy Rolder on injured reserve, Bachie's positional versatility gives him an opportunity for expanded defensive snaps behind Detroit's starters.
