Harrison Butker Retains Chiefs Starting Kicker Role for Week 9

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed Wednesday that Harrison Butker will remain the starting kicker against the Jets despite missing a key 54-yard field goal in a 28-24 loss to Denver. Butker is 12-for-18 on field goals this season, including 2-for-7 from 50+ yards, and has missed 16 kicks since last year. Former All-Pro Justin Tucker was signed to the practice squad but remains on the reserves for now.
