Jalen Brunson Pushes Back on Isiah Thomas Playmaking Comparisons

During the New York Knicks' 19-game run to the 2026 NBA championship, Jalen Brunson averaged 28.4 points and 6.1 assists per game. Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas claimed small guards like himself and Brunson win primarily through combined scoring and assisting unlike Steph Curry. However, statistical analysis disproves this claim, as Curry averaged 6.11 assists across his four championship runs. Brunson also averaged 10.1 made field goals on 21.7 attempts during his postseason run.
