Evgeni Malkin Takes Contact, Could Return Thursday vs Boston

Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin took contact during Wednesday's practice session and could return to the lineup for Thursday's game against Boston. Malkin missed Tuesday's contest against Vegas with a lower-body injury but has posted six goals and 11 points in 13 games this season. If Malkin is cleared to return to action against the Bruins, forward Andrei Kuzmenko is projected to serve as a healthy scratch.
