Alec Pierce Faces No Definitive Return Timetable From Heel Injury

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen announced Wednesday that he cannot put a timetable on wide receiver Alec Pierce's return to practice. Pierce has been on injured reserve since September 26 due to a heel injury and is currently rehabbing. With the 2-6 Colts operating as sellers ahead of the trade deadline, the team has little incentive to rush his recovery, further clouding a pass-catching corps dealing with trade requests.
