Ian Hamilton Enters Free Agency After Stint with Atlanta Braves

Right-handed reliever Ian Hamilton has hit the open market as a free agent following a brief 2026 season with the Atlanta Braves. After being non-tendered by the Yankees, Hamilton signed a non-guaranteed MLB contract with Atlanta in December 2025. He battled command issues and spent most of the year in Gwinnett, completing just 4.6 big league innings across multiple minor call-ups with a 184 ERA- and 0.0 fWAR, ultimately landing squarely in minor league deal territory for 2027.
