Jeremy McNichols Out for Season With Serious Foot Injury

Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols is out for the remainder of the 2026 season due to a serious mid-foot injury sustained Sunday against the Eagles that may require surgery. McNichols was placed on injured reserve Tuesday by head coach Dan Quinn. With Jacory Croskey-Merritt already sidelined with a groin injury, Washington's remaining healthy backfield options consist of Rachaad White, Austin Ekeler, and Robert Henry.
