Norchad Omier Changes Mind, Plans to Sign Two-Way Contract With Cavaliers

Forward Norchad Omier has pivoted from a previous agreement with the Minnesota Timberwolves and now plans to sign a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Omier previously played for Cleveland's G League affiliate, the Charge, where he averaged 20.0 points and 11.9 rebounds in 20 games. He averaged 1.8 points and 3.2 rebounds across six preseason games for Minnesota. Cleveland must waive a current two-way player to complete the signing.
