Joonas Korpisalo Heads to AHL Hartford on Conditioning Stint

Goaltender Joonas Korpisalo (foot) was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Wednesday for a conditioning stint as he nears a return from injury. Having yet to play this season, Korpisalo recently returned to practice and will use the AHL stint to shake off rust. With Igor Shesterkin out for the remainder of the campaign, Korpisalo will have an opportunity to compete for New York's primary goaltending role alongside Dylan Garand once he is fully activated.
