Shedeur Sanders Prepared to Make First Start in Week 9 vs. Saints

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders is in line to make his first start of the 2026 season against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 if Deshaun Watson cannot clear concussion protocol. Sanders briefly subbed in during Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh, completing both pass attempts for two yards across four snaps. The 2025 fifth-round pick is slated to take first-team reps in practice as Cleveland prepares.
