JJ Wetherholt Denied Gold Glove Despite Leading in OAA

Cardinals infielder JJ Wetherholt was reportedly snubbed for a 2026 Gold Glove, despite leading all players in Outs Above Average (OAA) at the 100th percentile. The article argues he was a more deserving winner than Turang, who was 99th percentile in OAA and had more than twice as many errors. Wetherholt's arm strength was described as mediocre, but still stronger than Turang's.
