Ben Hutton Joins Islanders on PTO Looking to Revive NHL Career

Free-agent defenseman Ben Hutton has signed a 10-day professional tryout contract with the New York Islanders. The 33-year-old Stanley Cup champion, who spent last season with the Vegas Golden Knights, began practicing with the team on Tuesday. Hutton cannot dress for games unless signed to a full contract, but the Islanders are seeking stability on their blue line following an injury to veteran defenseman Ryan Pulock.
