Matt Rempe Ignores Trade Rumors Ahead of Rare Rangers Appearance

New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe is focusing on securing a consistent roster spot despite trade rumors linking him to the Edmonton Oilers. After making the opening night roster, Rempe fell out of the regular fourth-line rotation and skated in just his third game of the season Tuesday against St. Louis alongside Noah Laba and Jaroslav Chmelar. Fully recovered from two previous thumb procedures, the 6-foot-9 winger says he is tuning out chatter.
