New York Jets Sign Offensive Tackle Blake Freeland

The New York Jets signed offensive tackle Blake Freeland off the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad on Tuesday. Freeland, a 2023 fourth-round pick by Indianapolis out of BYU, spent the 2025 season on injured reserve due to a right leg fracture before joining Cincinnati's practice squad. In corresponding moves, the Jets placed offensive lineman Max Mitchell on injured reserve with a concussion and released cornerback Tre Brown from injured reserve.
