Detroit Lions Waive Defensive Back Bishop Fitzgerald

The Detroit Lions announced that defensive back Bishop Fitzgerald has been waived on Tuesday. Fitzgerald was originally signed off of the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad in September, but he never appeared in a regular season game for the Lions. The roster move comes as Detroit places linebacker Jimmy Rolder on injured reserve and signs K.J. Britt off the New England Patriots' practice squad following injuries sustained against Minnesota.
