Daron Payne Placed on Season-Ending Injured Reserve

Washington Commanders defensive lineman Daron Payne was placed on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday after sustaining a severe foot injury. Payne's absence creates a major hole on the interior of Washington's defensive line. The team will rely on Tim Settle, Shy Tuttle, and Jer'Zhan Newton to step up in his place as the Commanders manage multiple defensive injuries heading into the next stretch of games.
