Mark Davis Expresses No Pressure to Start Rookie Fernando Mendoza

Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis stated there is absolutely no pressure to rush rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza into the starting lineup thanks to the steady play of veteran Kirk Cousins. Mendoza, the No. 1 overall pick, has appeared in just one game this season while learning the professional game and working with Tom Brady. Davis emphasized that sitting behind Cousins allows the young quarterback to develop his footwork and football intricacies properly.
