Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Bowen Byram was placed on injured reserve Tuesday as he continues to recover from an upper-body injury. Byram has been sidelined since Oct. 13, and his official return timeline remains uncertain. In six appearances prior to the injury this season, the blueliner registered one assist, five shots on goal, nine blocked shots, and two hits. Chicago recalled Dillon Boucher in a related move.
