Evan Phillips Emerging as Prime Free Agent Target for Washington Nationals

Free agent reliever Evan Phillips is drawing strong interest as a top target for the Washington Nationals this offseason. Coming off a successful year with the Dodgers where he posted a 3.46 ERA with 31.1% strikeouts and 5.7% walks, Phillips showed elite stuff with a 96.9 MPH fastball and 86.2 MPH sweeper. Despite past Tommy John surgery, he brings closing experience and an immaculate postseason resume, having allowed zero runs in 18.1 career playoff innings.
