Trey Amos Shines as Lockdown Cornerback for Washington Commanders

Washington Commanders cornerback Trey Amos delivered a dominant defensive performance in a 27-10 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, allowing just one catch for seven yards while recording two pass deflections. The 2025 second-round pick out of Ole Miss also had his first career interception negated by a penalty. After missing time due to a fractured fibula and an ankle injury, Amos has rapidly re-established himself as a cornerstone lockdown corner.
