Xzavion Curry Delivers Surprisingly Solid 2026 Season for New York Mets

Right-hander Xzavion Curry compiled an unexpectedly productive 2026 campaign after signing a minor league contract with the New York Mets in May. The 28-year-old emerged as Triple-A Syracuse's top starter with a 3.36 ERA over 72.1 innings before making 9 appearances (1 start) for the Mets. Despite a 5.48 MLB ERA, Curry maintained a solid 3.44 ERA over 18.1 innings outside of a single multi-run collapse against Baltimore.
