Giannis Antetokounmpo calls out Heat defense after blowout by Lakers

Giannis Antetokounmpo voiced frustration with the Miami Heat's defensive execution following a 138-117 road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Heat allowed 79 first-half points and 19 3-pointers in the blowout defeat. Antetokounmpo emphasized a lack of effort, individual pride, and defensive trust among teammates as key issues for the roster. Acquired via a four-player trade, Antetokounmpo noted players are hesitating on closeouts due to a lack of back-line trust.
