Ryan Jeffers Receives $23.15 Million Qualifying Offer From Twins
The Minnesota Twins extended a one-year, $23.15 million qualifying offer to catcher Ryan Jeffers. Despite missing nearly two months with a fractured hamate bone in his left wrist, the 29-year-old posted an .814 OPS with 14 home runs and 56 RBI in 92 games (369 plate appearances), generating 2.8 WAR. Jeffers has until Nov. 17 to decide whether to accept—which briefly makes him MLB's highest-paid catcher by AAV—or enter free agency.
