Phillies Decline Qualifying Offer for Alec Bohm in Free Agency

The Phillies did not extend the $23.15 million qualifying offer to Alec Bohm, allowing him to enter free agency without draft-pick compensation. Bohm batted .249 with 15 homers and 88 RBIs in 155 games in 2026, hitting .347 with runners in scoring position. While president Dave Dombrowski acknowledged his lost production, Bohm expressed a strong desire to return, leaving the door open for a potential multiyear contract.
